I picked up some Arcade Exhibit cards last week of actors musicians and comedians. I have figured out who they all are,people (like Jack Carson, Joanne Dru, Eileen Barton, and Louis Hayward, and a scattering of more B list people) except for one man.
I dont know and cant find anything on him. The name appears to be Bob Hawk. His face looks really familiar. But all the Bob Hawks I can find are not him.
So anyone of you have the nugget of info on this guy. Its driving me crazy for some reason.

His signature's a little different as a young man -- www.kcpl.lib.mo.us/localhis...media.cfm -- I suspect that the inscription on the tribe photo was done by a female clerk at his radio station.

And do you have a Chicago Public Library card? And a VCR? If yes to both questions, you can borrow the movie, "My Dream is Yours," as Ada Leonard & her band are supposedly in it, probably backing up Doris Day. And your town's library catalog says it's available for borrowing.
And how about contacting the person who owns this website -- www.peggygilbert.org -- 'cuz she might know where you can find Ada's music. (She also lists Ada's heirs -- Frank J. & Cornelia in a photo credit.)
